AboutSeabirdProtectionNetwork

The Seabird Protection Network is a multi-organization collaborative whose mission is to reduce human disturbance to seabirds and other marine wildlife along the California coast. Currently, the Seabird Protection Network extends from the Mendocino County line to Point Mugu, and includes the Channel Islands. The structure of the Seabird Protection Network (Network) is modeled on the Audubon Society chapter structure. There are currently fivechapters (see below). Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary manages the founding Bodega Head – Point Sur Chapter, and facilitates program expansion. For groups who oversee similar projects and are interested in starting a chapter, we’ve put together a framework for collaboration.

Partner with us, and learn to protect the places where seabirds breed when you're up in the air, or out on the water.
